General Energy CHRO, EAPM Board Member, 26th Term PERYÖN International Relations and Congress Representative Berna Öztınaz completed Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration and Sabancı University Executive MBA program. After working in the tourism sector for a while after graduation, she joined Kordsa A.Ş. Human Resources team in 1998. In addition to Kordsa Turkey operations, she took part in various projects for subsidiaries in Egypt, Germany, Argentina and Iran. She actively worked in Kordsa's acquisition of Dusa, a Sabancı-Dupont partnership, and in the Kordsa-Dupont partnership. She joined Enerjisa in 2005 as Human Resources and Business Support Manager. In 2007, she was appointed as Enerjisa Human Resources and Business Support Director, managing the human resources, business excellence, corporate communications, purchasing and legal functions. Berna Öztınaz was appointed as the Head of Strategic Business Support Department in 2012 and started to manage the strategic human resources and business support functions of the Production, Trade, Distribution and Sales companies organized under Enerjisa Enerji A.Ş., which operates in partnership with Sabancı Holding and the world's leading energy expert E.ON. She continued her managerial work in the areas of human resources management, corporate culture management, industrial relations management, corporate communication and business excellence in acquisitions and mergers, privatization processes. Öztınaz became the Head of Strategy and Human Resources at STFA Holding at the end of 2016. In this role, she was responsible for the management of the Strategy and HR functions of STFA Holding and the Construction, Energy and Machinery group within it. Öztınaz, who continued her role as the Deputy General Manager of HR at Defacto between 2019 and 2020, has been working as the CHRO of Genel Energy, an independent Oil and Gas Company listed on the London Stock Exchange, since 2020. Married with a child, Berna Öztınaz served as Peryön Board Member for 3 terms and then as Peryön Board President for the 24th and 25th terms. She is currently serving as International Relations Advisory Board Member and EAPM Board President for the 27th term of PERYÖN management.
