Özcan founded HumanGroup in 2006. The company has undertaken many successful projects in the areas of assessment and development centers, human resources structuring, senior executive coaching and mentoring, as well as senior executive selection and placement services and leadership development programs. The training and consultancy models in the fields of human behavior, communication and conflict management, and leadership development, which are accepted by authorities abroad, were introduced to the Turkish business world under Özcan’s leadership. In 19 years, approximately 70 percent of Turkey’s largest 500 companies were served.

In 2012, HumanGroup became the Turkish representative of Kestria, the world’s largest international senior executive search and placement company. In 2014, Özcan assumed the responsibility of “Regional Leader” responsible for the Kestria EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region.

Özcan, who became a member of PERYÖN in 2003, was elected as a Board Member of PERYÖN (Human Management Association) in 2017. He has been serving as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2023.

As of 2021, he has been serving as the Board Member responsible for "Humanity and Culture" on the Board of Directors of the Turkish Enterprise and Business Confederation (TURKONFED), an umbrella organization of regional and sectoral business world representative organizations. TÜRKONFED is among the largest business world organizations in Turkey with its effective member structure and number spread throughout every region of Turkey.
Özcan, who has held leadership positions in HumanGroup and various Civil Society Organizations; Besides Turkey, he manages high-level selection - placement and institutional development projects in leading countries of the world, especially in England, Italy, USA and the Middle East, and provides consultancy services in the field of Human Management. He designs and offers trainings focusing on the leadership style that will make a difference in the business world of the future, which will be shaped by artificial intelligence.
Gaye Özcan is married and the mother of a daughter.
