Ela Kulunyar is a graduate of Saint-Benoit French High School and Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration. She started her career with the Management Training Program at Beymen and continued her duty as Assistant Manager at Beyoğlu Store. After 1985, she worked in various positions in Foreign Trade and Sales within Koç Group for 15 years.
Since 1997, she undertook the management of the Turkey and international operations of Koç Group Foreign Trade Group and after 2003, she undertook the management of the human resources activities of Food and Retail Group companies.
She served as the Human Resources and Process Management Director at Doğuş Automotive Group between 2008-2016.
Between November 2016-2024, she was a member of Doğuş Automotive Executive Board and General Manager of Human Resources and Process Management, managing the Human Resources and Process Management functions of the Automotive Group and developing the Human Resources processes in the Authorized Dealer network.
Since September 2025, she has been working as a Management Consultant, Trainer, Coach and Mentor through her own company. In addition, she is a Board Member of Peryön Türkiye Human Resources Management Association and YKKD-Women on the Board Association.
