Özlem Denizmen is a distinguished serial entrepreneur who advocates financial well-being and is a recognized name on national and international platforms. She started her career as a financial analyst on Wall Street. She has assumed senior responsibilities such as strategic planning, business development, mergers and acquisitions at Doğuş Group, one of the largest groups in Turkey. She is currently a board member of Doğuş Otomotiv and Doğuş Oto, the market leader with a turnover exceeding 5 billion USD. Özlem started Turkey’s first financial literacy movement. Her efforts have earned her over 100 awards, including the title of “Young Global Leader” given by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos and being elected as the White House Entrepreneurship Delegate. Özlem is the Founding President of Monay, a fintech focused on behavioral financial well-being. She also founded ParaDurumu.com, which offers multi-channel financial literacy media, and FODER (Financial Literacy and Access Association of Türkiye). Her contributions also extend to the sustainability field; Özlem was the first Turkish member to be elected to the board of directors of GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), a global authority on sustainability reporting standards. She is also a well-known media figure; she hosts a popular program on money on a national television channel, writes a weekly newspaper column and has published three books. She is an opinion leader and influential figure with a large following on numerous social media channels. She continues to connect with people and create impact through her visits to universities and local communities all over Turkey.
Özlem's academic achievements include a BA from Cornell University and an MBA from MIT Sloan. She has also completed several high-level leadership trainings, including Harvard Business School AMP, Stanford, GE Crotonville and Harvard Kennedy School.
Özlem is married with two children.
