Born in Istanbul in 1959, Emine Perviz Erdem graduated from Notre Dame de Sion French Girls High School and Istanbul University Faculty of Law. Erdem, who has continued her career as a Board Member and Legal Advisor of Erdem Holding since 1985, also worked as a Consultant Lawyer at Turkish Airlines from 1990 to 2017 and retired. She has been a Board Member of KAGİDER since 2013 and served as the President of KAGİDER between 2019 and 2023. In addition, she represented Turkey as a Senior Senator at the World Angel Investors Forum between 2021 and 2023 and became the Vice President and Spokesperson of the Committee on “Ethical Governance, Standards of Excellence and Quality Leadership”. She served as the President of the Federation of Turkish Soroptimist Clubs between 2008 and 2010, as a Board Member of the European Soroptimist Federation between 2013 and 2017, as the President of the International Soroptimist Convention in 2015 and as the Vice President of the European Soroptimist Federation between 2015 and 2017. She was elected President of the Federation of Sectoral Associations (SEDEFED) on June 22, 2021 and continues to serve as the President. Erdem, who is the Vice President of TÜRKONFED, Global Entrepreneurship Network Turkey, GEN TR, Vice President, Habitat Association Advisory Board Member, Istanbul Economic Summit High Advisory Board Member, FCEM Executive Board Member, is a member of the Advisory Board of the Women Candidates Support Association, International University She is a member of the Women's Federation and the Turkish Women Lawyers Association.
