Ebru Taşcı Firuzbay began her career at Garanti BBVA as a management trainee, undertaking various roles and responsibilities across branch, regional, and headquarters units.
She subsequently joined Türk Ekonomi Bankası, where she worked in Small Business Banking Sales and Strategic Planning within the Retail Banking division. She held senior executive positions as Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Organization and Executive Committee Member at BNP Paribas Cardif Türkiye (2011–2018), Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Executive Committee Member at Alternatif Bank (2018–2021), and Director of People and Culture and Board Member at METRO Türkiye (2021–2024). Her experience encompasses structuring comprehensive human resources solutions, managing corporate mergers and transformations, and leading initiatives related to organizational culture and digitalization.
As of December 2024, Ebru Taşcı Firuzbay serves as the Executive Vice President of Talent and Culture at Garanti BBVA. She also serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors (26th and 27th terms) for PERYÖN – The People Management Association of Turkey.
Firuzbay is a Board Member at Garanti BBVA Pension and Life, Garanti BBVA Securities, Garanti BBVA Payment Systems, and Garanti BBVA Culture. Additionally, she serves as the Chairperson of the Board and a Member of the Board of Trustees at the Teachers Academy Foundation (ÖRAV).
